Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Medical AI and Intelligent Diagnostics (IJMAID) follows a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly work in medical artificial intelligence and intelligent diagnostic systems. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the evaluation process.

01
Initial Manuscript Screening

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the Editorial Office.

The manuscript is checked for:

  • Scope and relevance to medical AI and intelligent diagnostics
  • Originality and plagiarism (using standard plagiarism detection tools)
  • Ethical compliance (including patient data protection, consent, and approvals where applicable)
  • Formatting and adherence to author guidelines

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be desk rejected or returned to the authors for necessary corrections.

04
Double-Blind Peer Review

The manuscript is sent to reviewers under a double-blind system.
